In the mid-nineteenth century, William Sweer was the first to coin the expression "mental cleanliness", which can be viewed as the antecedent to contemporary ways to deal with take a shot at advancing positive mental health. Dorothea Dix (1804–1889) was an essential figure in the improvement of "mental cleanliness" development.
